Any salesperson who promotes the benefits of the Farberware indoor grill would have been pleased to hear the comments made on “Good Morning America” during a show on one warm, July morning. That day, one of the guests was a woman who wrote a guide for “green” families. She was asked to comment on several types of grills. She indicated that both the outdoor and indoor electric grill lack the pollutants that are associated with many types of outdoor grilling.
While that short cooking related message did not mention the Farberware electric grill, it also remained absent of the brand name for any specific outdoor or indoor appliance. At the same time, it managed to put to rest any confusion about the equation of barbecue cooking and smoke production. The woman who stood next to each grilling appliance made sure to point out the eco-friendly aspects of certain grills.
A similar report on a food channel would no doubt mention a few of the newest barbecuing aids. Some of those new tools have the ability to expand the nature of the fare that a chef can prepare on a Farberware indoor grill. One such tool, for example, is the recently introduced flexible skewer. It allows a chef to cook skewered meat on almost any reasonably sized grilling surface. It does not have to be the sort of grilling surface that allows placement of straight skewers in even rows. Therefore, the owner of an indoor grill can now make kebabs without having to work in an outdoor cooking area.
This possibility represents a real advantage, for those who live in a region of the world where the winter can be long and cold. In such a region, a chef enjoys only a brief window of time, for pursuit of outdoor food preparation techniques. One of those techniques could well be the making of ground beef kebabs.
Another tool that should be of interest to any barbecuing expert is one called the “grillfloss”. It facilitates the job of cleaning the grate on which food has been grilled. This new “floss” can shave off the gunk that has formed on an indoor or outdoor grilling aid. It helps a homemaker to keep any indoor cooking appliance looking clean and shiny. Armed with this new tool the owner of a Farberware indoor grill can have that device looking almost as good as it would be expected to look on a showroom floor, or on a TV screen.
